New YK1 Websites
Yellowknife Education District No. 1 (YK1) recently launched new websites for the district, all YK1 schools, K'alemi Dene School and Kaw Tay Whee School. The school district also launched a new mobile application, which can be downloaded from your phone's App Store by searching "YK1". We encourage families to bookmark the following new websites:

New YK1 Mobile Application
- To download YK1's new mobile application, visit your phone's "App Store" and search for "YK1". Initiate the download when you see YK1's name and logo.
- Once the download is complete, click the site or sites you want to subscribe to (you can subscribe to as few or as many as you'd like). We recommend subscribing to the district site since all YK1 information will always be pushed from this site.
- Enable notifications for the application so that information is automatically sent to your mobile once it's published on our websites.
