The ALCDSB ranks in the top 20 of Board graduation rates of the 72 Boards in Ontario.
Graduation is one indicator of student success and achievement during secondary school. To achieve an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a student must complete 30 credits (17 compulsory, 13 electives), the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT), complete 40 hours of community service and a minimum of 2 online credits.
Our four-year graduation rates surpassing the province again this year with the 2019-2020 four-year grad rate of 89.5% and a 2018-2019 five-year grad rate of 90.9%.
