We're so proud of our talented teaching staff! In the lead up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, one of our amazing teachers - Chris Chipak of Wildwood School - had his design work featured by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The Riders asked Chris, a member of the Red Pheasant Cree Nation, to design a logo that would showcase the Roughriders' commitment to truth and reconciliation. The logo was featured on player helmets during the Riders' September 28th game.
Chris' design pays tribute to Saskatchewan's identity and the identities of its people, the interconnectedness of the land and people, and inclusivity for all persons.
