Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN) once again has the best 4-year and 5-year high school graduation rates of the region's two French-language school boards and two English-language school boards. The Ontario government has released the high school graduation rates for the various Catholic and Public School Boards in Ontario for 2023.
CSCFN is proud to announce that it has a graduation rate of 89.4% in 4 years and 94.8% in 5 years, placing it first in the region. This puts CSCFN well above the provincial average. In 2023, the provincial average graduation rate within four years of starting high school was 84.3%, while 89.5% of the province's students graduated within five years.
"Our focus on personalized learning, experiential learning and achieving full potential enables all students, from kindergarten to grade 12, to thrive on a personal, cultural, spiritual and academic level. Thanks to our numerous diversified programs and innovative services, offered by our dedicated staff, students who enroll in a Franco-Nord school acquire essential skills and lifelong bilingualism, then graduate to pursue post-secondary studies and become true contributors in the workforce!" announces Serge Levac, Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer of CSCFN.
