Four students from Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord, among others, were recognized and celebrated for their remarkable devotion, perseverance, camaraderie and leadership at school and within their community during the annual Evening of Applause hosted by the North Bay and District Multicultural Centre, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
In conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination event, Alexis Pigeon of École élémentaire catholique Mariale, Isabelle Charron of École élémentaire catholique Saint-Raymond, Miguel Marleau of École élémentaire catholique Saint-Joseph and Félix Larocque of École secondaire catholique Franco-Cité were awarded a certificate of merit by CSCFN superintendent, Éric Foisy, as they are living models of our Catholic values and exhibit the qualities of good citizenship. Guests included Mayor Al McDonald, friends, families, educational and administration school board staff as well as community supporters.
Students of Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord since kindergarten, Alexis, Isabelle, Miguel and Félix demonstrate all the global competencies conducive to having a future without limits.
