On September 4, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board will open two new Catholic elementary schools in Caledon and Brampton.
The Caledon school, which was recently named St. Evan Catholic Elementary School, will be a 504 pupil place elementary school with child care spaces for toddlers and preschoolers. The school will be situated at 500 Dougall Avenue, north of Highway 410 between Hurontario Street and Kennedy Road. Joe Amodeo was recently appointed Principal of St. Evan.
The Brampton school, named St. Jacinta Marto Catholic Elementary School, will also be a 504 pupil place facility that will include child care spaces for toddlers and preschoolers. The school will be located at 40 Fallowfield Road, north of Queen Street West between Mississauga Road and Creditview Road. Avril Metivier was recently appointed Principal of St. Jacinta Marto.
Registration for St. Evan Catholic Elementary School (Boundary Map) will take place at St. Rita School (30 Summer Valley Drive, Brampton) and registration for St. Jacinta Marto Catholic Elementary School (Boundary Map) will take place at St. Jean-Marie Vianney School (75 Jordensen Drive, Brampton).
