Students in the skilled trades, welding program at Riverside Secondary School have been tempered by the generosity of the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Welding Foundation.
The class is a recipient of an $11,000 Weldsafe Grant which covers each student from head to toe with new, high-end safety equipment. The CWB Foundation is a not-for-profit organization "working with partners to support and sustain the need for skilled welding professionals in the workforce"
35 high schools across the country are selected each year to receive this grant. Riverside is grateful to be one of them.
