Burlington Central High School (638 Brant St., Burlington) is celebrating a major milestone - its 100th anniversary - with a four-day event from Thursday, June 1 through Sunday, June 4.
The school welcomes former students, staff and others who have been a part of the Burlington Central HS community during the past 100 years to attend. The four-day event (Thursday, June 1 to Sunday, June 4) will offer a wide variety of opportunities for people to visit the school and reconnect with high school friends and teachers. There are a series of events planned over the course of the three days to help the community celebrate the century of learning at Burlington Central HS, as well as its theatrical and athletic/sporting history and much more.
"We are committed to organizing a safe, inclusive, community-oriented celebration to honour Central's key role in the education of so many Burlingtonian's over the last ten decades," says Terry Ruf, former principal and co-chair of the Burlington Central 100th Anniversary Reunion Steering Committee.
"The Steering Committee for Burlington Central's 100th Anniversary Reunion is excited to welcome the thousands of Burlington Central alumni and current and former staff members who will return to the school in June," says Todd Ford, co-chair of the Burlington Central 100th Anniversary Reunion Steering Committee.
