The St. Mary's College Student Council was honoured to visit City Hall, where they met with Mayor Shoemaker, CAO Vair, and Councillor Caputo to present a donation to our local chapter of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Canada.
We are grateful to the City of Sault Ste. Marie for welcoming our students and supporting this meaningful initiative that helps nurture a love of reading in young children across our community.
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a free book gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in children from birth to age five. Through partnerships with local community organizations, enrolled children receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book delivered directly to their home each month completely free of charge.
SMC Student Council is proud to support a program that promotes literacy, encourages family engagement, and helps build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
