Prince Albert Roman Catholic Separate School Board of Education have nominated 3 teachers for the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence.
The Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence is awarded to recognize exceptional elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines each year. Since 1994, the Prime Minister's Awards have honoured more than 2,100 outstanding Canadian educators. Award recipients are determined based on a rigorous two-tier selection process undertaken by over 130 volunteers from the education and early childhood education communities across Canada.
The Board of Education has nominated the following teachers for École St. Mary High School, Mark Phaneuf, École St. Anne teacher Donn Goertz and St. Catherine Catholic School teacher Renee Garrison.
