Congratulations to the Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School girls' hockey team on their bronze medal win at OFSAA A/ AA Girls Hockey Tournament!
The team secured an impressive 5-1 win over Simcoe Composite School. Caileigh Tiller kicked off the scoring midway through the first period, assisted by Emilia Cocetti. The game remained tense through the second period, with Holy Cross holding a narrow 1-0 lead. However, in the third period, the team dominated, adding four more goals to seal the victory (Caileigh (1), Chelsea (1), and Avery Williamson (2).

The team remained undefeated throughout the group stage of the tournament but fell just short with a 6-4 defeat by St. Michael in the semi-finals, who went on to win the gold medal in a thrilling final against St. Mark.
A huge congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff! We can't wait to see what next season has in store.
