The Northwest Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Andrew Bridge to the position of Math Facilitator effective August 31, 2015. Mr. Bridge holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Manitoba along with a Math Specialist designation in Ontario. He is currently completing his Part 3, Specialist Qualifications in Reading. Mr. Bridge is a member of the Aspiring Catholic Leadership group and he has successfully co-led a "Teaching, Learning and Leadership" Ministry project within the junior division at Sacred Heart School that focused on mathematics instruction. He is currently a grade 6 teacher at Sacred Heart School who will be replacing Mr. Brody Marsonet, the former Math Facilitator, as Mr. Marsonet assumes the leadership role of Principal at Sacred Heart School.
The Northwest Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Lisa Cousineau to the position of Student Work Study/Student Success Technology (SWST) Teacher effective August 31, 2015. Mrs. Cousineau is a graduate of Lakehead University and holds a Bachelor of Education degree. She is an experienced educator who, over the years, has taught in the primary, junior and intermediate divisions. As a lifelong learner, Mrs. Cousineau has recently obtained Part 1 Qualifications in Religious Education along with a Specialist Designation in Kindergarten. She recently completed Part I in Mathematics as well as Part 1 in Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction. She has successfully co-led a "Teaching, Learning and Leadership" Ministry project within the primary division at St. Michael's School that focused on literacy instruction. She is currently an FDK teacher at St. Michael's School and will be replacing Mrs. Vinczeffy, the current SWST, as she is retiring at the end of this school year.
