On behalf of the Board and Administration, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Tara (Chasowy) Johnson to the position of Behavioural Lead at the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Tara has 14 years of experience working with children and their families in various settings including intensive behaviour therapy in schools, homes and in the community. Tara has worked extensively with educational teams, students and their families within the Northwest Catholic District School Board over that time.
Tara has degrees in Psychology and Social Work and is near completion of her Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certificate. Her current area of expertise is in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), but she also has experience and education in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other areas of children's mental health.
