On Friday February 28, 2025, students from several Upper Grand DSB secondary schools gathered to compete in Special Olympics Bocce.
The day, held at the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre in Marden, brought together more than 200 athletes from Centennial CVI, College Heights SS, Centre Wellington DHS, Guelph CVI, John F. Ross CVI, Norwell DSS, Orangeville DSS, Westside SS and Wellington Heights SS, as well as two WCDSB schools.
The tournament was part of Special Olympics Ontario's qualifier series.
