CANADIAN SCHOLARSHIP TRUST FOUNDATION
Canada-wide Competition for Innovative Ideas to help Kids Learn

April 5, 2016

It is the ultimate cross-country search for innovative ideas to help ignite the imaginations of Canadian children. The CST Inspired Minds Learning Project kicks off, challenging communities and organizations across the country to 'think outside of the box' and find new and innovative ideas that support the growth and development of children from infancy to age 17.

As part of the competition, the CST Learning Project is offering $250,000 in funding, including a $100,000 grand prize, to the best ideas which capture the hearts and minds of Canadians and CST's judging panel, whose expertise take us from the far reaching corners of the universe, on amazing adventures across the country as well as to glitz and glamour around the globe.

Astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield, Olympian and host of CTV's The Amazing Race Canada Jon Montgomery, Anchor Ben Mulroney of CTV's Etalk, and popular Toronto duo, 'Choir! Choir! Choir!' are CST's Learning Project Ambassadors who will determine the competition winners.

"This competition has an incredible impact on students, families and communities," said Martha Turner, Vice President, Marketing at CST Consultants. "We are also fortunate to have an incredible roster of Canadian talent and personalities as Learning Project judges who support innovative ideas to inspire Canadian children."

"I'm proud to be a CST Learning Project judge," said Col. Chris Hadfield. "As a supporter of education and innovation, I'm looking forward to seeing the creative ideas from across Canada that helps students learn both inside and outside of the classroom."
