At November 21's annual organizational meeting, Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) trustees re-elected both Johanne Lacombe as Chair and Daniel Boudria as Vice-Chair by acclamation.
Johanne Lacombe is the trustee for Orléans East-Cumberland, and this is her ninth term as Chair. In addition to her CECCE responsibilities, Ms. Lacombe is also Chair of the Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques (AFOCSC), Vice-Chair of the Consortium Centre Jules-Léger, and First Vice-Chair of the Fédération nationale des conseils scolaires francophones (FNCSF).
Mr. Boudria has served as the trustee for Orléans South-Navan since 2006; this is his seventh term as Vice-Chair.
"I am deeply honoured and grateful that the CECCE's board of trustees has once again placed its trust in me. As I embark on this renewed mandate, I remain committed to working for our students, their families and our wider school community with passion and dedication. I am also excited to keep working with my fellow trustees as we continue to implement the CECCE's 2021-26 strategic plan."
Johanne Lacombe, Chair, CECCE
"It is a privilege to continue serving the region's francophone families as Vice-Chair of the CECCE. My first priority remains ensuring that our students get a top-quality education in an environment that fosters well-being and is informed by our values. During my term, I will continue to promote the innovative, caring approach we are so well known for both nationally and internationally."
Daniel Boudria, Vice-Chair, CECCE
"I congratulate Johanne Lacombe and Daniel Boudria on their re-election as CECCE Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively. They have been doing remarkable work for many years, and I am looking forward to continuing our collaboration. Their unwavering dedication to francophone Catholic education and their outstanding leadership are invaluable assets to our board. I know that, together, we will continue to make the CECCE even better for our students and their families."
