Congratulations to our CSA President, Jessie Kurtz!
Jessie is the recipient of a Schulich Leadership Scholarship award valued at $100,000 in scholarship funding! In the Fall, she will be starting her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at McGill University. In Jessie's words "In 10 years, I see myself as the founder of a start-up specializing in the production of nanomaterials destined for carbon-capture technology. I plan to achieve this by collaborating with other engineers, chemists, biologists, and business professionals seeking to minimize the global environmental footprint caused by power plants and factories."
The Champlain Community is extremely proud of Jessie and would like to thank her for everything she has done for her fellow classmates.
Jessie is now part of an esteemed network of national STEM scholars at one of Canada's leading universities. For more information about the Schulich Leader Scholarships visit: schulichleaders.com
