The Rainbow District School Board, Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord, Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon (CSC Nouvelon) and the Sudbury Catholic District School Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Verrilli as Athletic Administrator for the Sudbury District Secondary School Athletic Association (SDSSAA).
Chris Verrilli brings a wealth of experience in sports administration and event coordination to the position. He will play a vital role in advancing athletic programs throughout the Greater Sudbury area in partnership with school boards, schools, coaches and athletic associations.

Chris Verrilli has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration from Laurentian University, graduating cum laude in 2020. During his studies, he was actively involved in the Sports Administration Student Council and managed co-curricular athletic programs through LUG Hockey.
His experience in coordinating championships and supporting events like the Esso Cup, Telus Cup, and the Sudbury Wolves align directly with the responsibilities of his new role as Athletic Administrator.
Through his varied experience, Chris Verrilli has gained a comprehensive understanding of provincial and local sports policies, safety regulations, and appeal processes. He has successfully managed budgets, resources, and facility operations in accordance with OPHEA guidelines.
Engaged in sports in Sudbury from a young age, Chris Verrilli is thrilled to support athletic programs in our community. An advocate for youth, he is dedicated to building strong relationships with schools, coaches, athletes and organizations to create a thriving and inclusive athletic environment.
Chris Verrilli's commitment to relationship building, along with his experience in communications and media relations, will ensure that the SDSSAA continues to engage with its diverse network of stakeholders effectively. His leadership skills and passion for sports will contribute to the continued success and growth of athletic programs in the SDSSAA.
