2019 Recipient of the AAU Coordinating Committee on Faculty Development's Distinguished Service Award Announced

Eileen Herteis has received the AAU Coordinating Committee on Faculty Development's 2019 Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes former members who have made extraordinary and sustained contributions to faculty development in the region through at least three years of service on the Committee.

Ms. Herteis represented Mount Allison University for 13 years and served two terms as the Committee chair.

The AAU (www.atlanticuniversities.ca) represents the 16 universities in Atlantic Canada and serves as an advocate for the important role Atlantic universities play in preparing future leaders of our communities, in path-breaking research and innovation and in contributing to the economic prosperity and quality of life of the Atlantic region.
