It is with great pride that we announce that Collège Nordique is now a member of UArctic (University of the Arctic), joining the category of "Arctic Post-Secondary Institutions". This international recognition by our peers represents an important milestone in the journey of Collège Nordique. We join Aurora College, Yukon University, Nunavut Arctic College and Dechinta Bush University Centre for Research and Learning who were already members of UArctic.
A community dedicated to the advancement of the Arctic.
UArctic is a cooperative network of universities, colleges, research institutes and other organizations with a keen interest in the Far North and life in the Arctic. With over 200 member institutions worldwide, UArctic provides a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and research on Arctic issues. As a new member, Collège Nordique is delighted to contribute to this global community dedicated to the advancement of the Arctic.
An International recognition.
Our membership of UArctic confirms the importance of our actions on an international scale, while opening up new perspectives on themes essential to our mission, such as the revitalization of indigenous languages. To this end, Patrick Arsenault, Executive Director, and Angélique Ruzindana, President of the CNF, made the trip to present the Collège Nordique. Patrick expressed the need for this recognition, underlining, "Participating and exchanging with other Nordic members who share our realities is paramount for us." This statement underlines our determination to enrich and share knowledge within the UArctic community.
Exploring opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
Membership of UArctic offers Collège Nordique the opportunity to establish and participate in thematic networks, opening up new avenues for collaboration and innovation. This strategic direction holds immense potential, enabling our institution to remain at the forefront of Arctic education and research, while strengthening our ties with like-minded partners around the world.
