CARL Appoints Taleen Aktorosian as Communications and Project Officer

The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) is pleased to announce that Taleen Aktorosian has joined the CARL team as Communications and Project Officer. 

A graduate from McGill University with a Master of Information Studies, Taleen brings experience from both the public and academic library sectors. Prior to joining CARL, she worked as an Information Services Librarian at Vanier College in Montreal, Québec, providing research guidance to students and faculty, as well as an Instructional Services and Research Librarian at the Côte Saint-Luc Public Library. 

As the newly appointed, bilingual Communications and Project Officer, Taleen will be responsible for enhancing CARL's communication channels and supporting selected initiatives, including a variety of pan-Canadian communities of practice. 

Taleen's first day was March 4th, 2024 and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome her to CARL.
