CARLETON TRAIL COLLEGE
College Announces Retirement of Board Chair, Glenn Hepp: Appreciation extended for years of service

July 2, 2020

The Board of Directors and President and CEO of Carlton Trail College announces the retirement of Glenn Hepp, Board Chair, effective June 30, 2020. Hepp has served as a Director for nine years.

"Glenn leaves large shoes to fill," says Shelley Romanyszyn-Cross, President and CEO. "We will miss his insight and commitment but wish him well as he moves on from this role. Sincere thanks and appreciation are extended to Glenn for his leadership and years of service."

Adrienne Jackson will become the Acting Chair of the Board of Directors. Board chairpersons, along with their board members, serve as stewards of the College with statutory authority and obligation to guide the affairs of the institution. They set the strategic direction of the College in response to the needs of their region and, as trustees, meet with the Minister of Advanced Education to share and discuss issues such as strategic and business planning, policies and government direction. The Minister of Advanced Education will formally appoint the next Board Chair for Carlton Trail College.

"I'm proud of what we've been able to accomplish over the past nine years together," says Hepp.  "We have a dynamic Board and an excellent executive team and staff - my successor will be joining a top team and important community-building institution within the region."
