French for the Future is pleased to be in Alberta, in Edmonton, host city of the National Ambassador Youth Forum (FNJA), currently taking place at the University of Alberta's Saint-Jean campus. The event kicked off on August 4 and runs until August 9, 2024.
3 young people are representing the province as ambassadors this year:
- Victoria Godfree - Salaberry-De-Valleyfield, QC
- Zoe Labelle - Saint-Eustache, QC
- Eliana Li - Montreal, QC
This event brings together 35 passionate young ambassadors from nine provinces and one territory for a week of intensive training on the Canadian Francophonie and bilingualism. Participants are involved in leadership workshops, project management, French-language games, cultural visits, outdoor activities and more.
This is a unique opportunity for you to meet these committed young people face-to-face, learn about their initiatives to promote French, and appreciate the impact this event will have on the Canadian francophone community.
We'd be delighted to facilitate interviews with participants or provide you with further information on the activities taking place. Don't miss this chance to cover an event that celebrates and supports bilingualism and Francophonie.
We look forward to working with you to highlight this exceptional event.
