The City of Charlottetown and more than 70 students from Queen Charlotte Junior High School joined forces to plant more than 150 trees and shrubs in Miltonvale, as part of the reforestation efforts taking place on the City's wellfield property. Funding for the project was provided by the PEI Wildlife Conservation Fund with trees from the Greening Spaces Program. The event also gave students an opportunity to see a watershed demonstration and participate in a nature walk to identify trees and recognize the importance of tree planting.
