Description
This is an intensive full-day AP teacher training program designed to prepare teachers to teach the College Board's Advanced Placement courses. Participants will gain experience with the concepts and goals of AP courses and their corresponding exams. The workshop will address curriculum, pedagogy and technology as supported by the College Board standards. It is suitable for both new and experienced AP teachers to receive a condensed AP curricular and teaching education. Each session will be led by College Board-certified AP consultants to provide participants with the experiences necessary to successfully teach an AP course in their discipline. They will share their expertise in AP and first-hand AP teaching experience with the participants. Individuals completing the full-day class sessions will receive a certificate of completion which will be emailed to you on the last day.
