Secondary Schools United Nations Symposium goal is to empower the youth leaders of today is twofold. SSUNS offers a platform on which youth leaders bring their unique perspectives and identities to discuss and collaborate in order to discover innovative solutions to global issues. Through honest dialogue and organised debate, youth leaders at SSUNS strengthen valuable skills such as critical thinking and productive communication in an environment built upon the value of mutual respect for diverse ideas. Following the conference, SSUNS participants should return to their communities confident in their ability to effect change in areas they are inspired to do so.
