Description
The college is seeking part-time professors to teach credited courses in the Winter 2022 term.  These courses will be taught onsite.

350-402-HR Developmental Psychology (1 section)
(2 hours of theory, 1 hour of lab and 3 hours of availability per week)
This application course investigates development from conception through middle childhood. The influences of heredity, environment, family, school and social experiences will be examined from the perspectives of the physical, psycho-social and cognitive domains. Students will continue to develop their skills in writing formal research papers in psychology.

350-H07-HR Developmental Psychology II (1 section)
(3 hours of theory, 1 hour of lab and 4 hours of availability per week)
Students in the Early Childhood Care and Education program study the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development of the adolescent and adult. While current developmental theory and research are explored, emphasis is placed on contemporary issues relating to Early Childhood Care and Education.

ROLE SUMMARY

In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request; participation in pedagogical days organized by the College; participation in departmental meetings and required activities. May also include departmental coordination; program committee coordination; special support and supervision activities; participation in program activities; program development; implementation and evaluation; and institutional development.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology or in another discipline related to the courses being taught.
  • Several years of teaching experience at the university or college level is preferred.

SALARY RANGE (ANNUAL)

42,431.00$ - 91,023.00$
