Lambton College Adds Collection of Free Mini-Courses to Online Roster

In a continued commitment to provide flexible learning opportunities and skills development for students and learners of all ages, Lambton College has a launched a series of free online mini-courses.

The newly designed modules, better known as eBits, are a collection of self-paced, competency-based learning offerings, pulled and packaged directly from the curriculum of Lambton's full-time program roster. Registrants will also receive a Certificate of Completion when a module is finished successfully.

The premier collection of 20 bite-sized courses were recently released in an effort to support the community to various aspects of professional growth and self-development in a post-pandemic world.

The new mini-course catalogue features more than 20 free, hour-long learning modules that enable learners to explore an interest, prepare for the upcoming school year, or further develop professionally.

"Competency-Based Education is an important part of the College's strategic direction and the development of eBits is one step in that direction. Our team felt this would be a good time to share with our community and prospective students," says Judith Morris, President & CEO, Lambton College.

All mini-courses are available online and feature topics such as Essential Food Safety, Elevate Your Brand Online, or Advocacy for Patients & Families. A variety of new mini-courses are also expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.
