Nine ALCDSB students from three secondary schools completed alongside over 130 students from two school boards in the secondary portion of the Limestone Skills Competition at St. Lawrence College (SLC) in Kingston on Thursday (Feb 29).
Congratulations to our Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (HCCSS) participants who placed in the following categories:
Noah Grasleyn (Grade 11), gold, Graphic Design Studio
Jacob Soudant & Austin Visneskie (both Grade 11), silver, Team of 2 Carpentry
Andrew Cheung (Grade 12), bronze, Coding
Of the 25 competition areas, ALCDSB students were active participants in Hairstyling, Carpentry, Graphic Design and Coding. Competitors demonstrated their talent and creativity with specific tasks to perform, or scenarios to complete, within a specific time frame, and were judged by industry specialists.
Other ALCDSB student participants included Emma Short, Nicholson Catholic College, David Cheng and Sajjad Naqvi, St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School
Parker Sarris and Katie Ward, Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School.
All ALCDSB competitors worked very hard in their respective competitions and represented ALCDSB in a positive light.
