Youth Science Canada is proud to announce the selection of eight exceptional students who will represent the country as Team Canada-ISEF at the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio from May 10 to 16.
Following a rigorous selection process, these young innovators will showcase Canadian scientific excellence on the world stage, competing against nearly 2,000 students from over 60 countries.
"These students represent the best of Canadian youth STEM talent, combining scientific rigour with innovative thinking," says Reni Barlow, executive director at Youth Science Canada. "Building on the success of last year's team, we're confident this group will showcase Canada's strength in youth scientific achievement on the international stage."

The Regeneron ISEF is the world's largest pre-college science research competition, offering approximately US$9 million in awards, scholarships and prizes annually. Canadian students have consistently achieved outstanding results at past competitions, including multiple Grand Awards and Special Awards in 2024.
"The dedication and scientific vision demonstrated by these students is truly remarkable," says Dr. Marc Roussel, chair of the Team Canada-ISEF selection panel. "Each project showcases not only technical skill but also a deep understanding of how science can address real-world challenges. These young innovators will be outstanding ambassadors for Canadian STEM excellence on the international stage."
The Team Canada-ISEF program is made possible through the generous support of the Gwyn Morgan and Patricia Trottier Foundation through its Youth Can Innovate program.
