WRDSB Celebrates Recipients of the 2024-25 Past-Directors' Bursary to Support Trade Education

Sixteen Grade 12 students from across Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) received the 2024-25 Past-Directors' Bursary during the WRDSB Board of Trustees meeting on May 26. Each recipient of the bursary will receive $125. The selected students will receive the bursary to support them in pursuing a trade through college or apprenticeship programs.

Chair Maedith Radlein was honoured to acknowledge the recipients of the 2024-25 Past-Directors' Bursary for their commitment to furthering their learning pathways and entering careers in the skilled trades.

"On behalf of the WRDSB Board of Trustees, I wish you the very best as you pursue a career in the skilled trades," said Radlein. "We are proud of your accomplishments within the WRDSB and alongside your families and caregivers, we look forward to the wonderful contributions you will make to your communities as you continue your postsecondary education through college or apprenticeship programs."
