This Northern Alberta Teacher Award (NATA) encourages teachers to live and work in rural and remote northern Alberta communities. With Northern Gateway Public Schools, any new teachers beginning their careers in Whitecourt, Fox Creek and Valleyview are eligible to apply:
Teachers must be able and willing to complete:
- 2 years of full-time employment to receive a $9,000 award, or
- 3 years of full-time employment to receive an $18,000 award.
