Peel District School Board (PDSB) is celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of the graduating Class of 2026, recognizing thousands of students whose academic excellence, perseverance and commitment have prepared them for bright futures.
Among the 9,858 students who graduated with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) this year, 12 achieved a perfect 100 per cent average, including eight from Brampton, one from Caledon and three from Mississauga.
An additional 51 students earned averages between 99 and 99.8 per cent, while 823 students graduated with averages of 95 per cent or higher.
Overall, 6,554 graduates, nearly two-thirds of the graduating class, earned Ontario's Top Scholar designation, awarded to students who graduate with an average of 80 per cent or higher in their top six Grade 12 courses.
Students also demonstrated their readiness for life beyond secondary school. A total of 1,035 graduates earned a Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Red Seal, completing sector-specific certifications and training that strengthen pathways to apprenticeships, college, university and direct entry into the workforce.
