With a career that spans multiple provinces and sectors, Sabryna's professional journey reflects a deep commitment to inclusive education, Indigenous engagement, and innovative program development.

Sabryna's educational leadership is grounded in her early experiences in the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. Sabryna's professional development training in anti-oppressive leadership, 4 seasons of reconciliation, and several mental health and crisis intervention certifications further inform her empathetic approach.

"It is a great honour to be entrusted with supporting Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, Mikisew Cree First Nation, and Fort Chipewyan Métis as Principal of Athabasca Delta Community School. I am eager to begin working with the community as we co-create a pathway for capacity and strength as they prepare to assume school operations. Together, we will work to immerse the values of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, Mikisew Cree First Nation, and Fort Chipewyan Métis community into the fibres of education in Fort Chipewyan. The sense of belonging from co-creating space will translate into additional student achievement and wellness improvements."
