VANIER COLLEGE
Vanier launches "Uniquely Différent" campaign

January 23, 2026

This winter, Vanier College is launching a promotional campaign, which seeks to celebrate the strengths and positive values of the Vanier.

The campaign's signature bilingual slogan--"Uniquely différent"--highlights how Vanier is a place where difference is not only accepted but valued and celebrated. The richly diverse, tight-knit community where everyone can be themselves, and is what makes the college unique.

With this message, the campaign aims to inspire future students to join Vanier while bolstering a sense of pride and belonging among its current students, employees and alumni.

The campaign visuals feature real Vanier students on campus, shot in the style of a fashion shoot. As part of the project, students are wearing custom clothing pieces developed specifically for the campaign under the label Maison Vanier.

The students featured are:

  • Lenny Kouakou Manset (Computer Science and Math, Basketball D1)
  • Lia Poupart (Honours Health Science and VCSA Academic Affairs)
  • Sacha Yaacov Sebbane (Business Administration, Marketing)
  • Allyson Peck (Early Childhood Education)
  • Kiavash Emrani (Computer Science Technology)
  • Arianna Kehyeyan (General Social Science and Women's Soccer)

The agency behind the concept and design of the campaign is Gauthier Designers. The clothing was produced by Flavie Lechat of Flavio Studio and photos were shot by photographers Alex Chabot and Jolianne L'Allier Matteau of LM Chabot.

"Amid the many changes and challenges across the CEGEP network in recent years, we wanted to share a positive message. Vanier is a place where people with a wide range of identities, life experiences, talents, and expertise come together to accomplish remarkable things. This campaign highlights how our differences both as individuals and as a community are precisely what unite us and make us unique, while engaging students and employees through the playful visual language of fashion. My hope is that students see themselves and their friends reflected in the campaign, and that employees feel a renewed sense of pride in the community we build together every day," says Vanier communications manager Jaqueline Matskiv.

Keep an eye out on social media and around campus for more campaign materials throughout the coming weeks.
