Rossville School in Coleville has been selected as the recipient of a Teacher Innovation Fund Grant. The project it will receive funding for is "Math Around the Room," which is the reimagining of math instruction with a games-based learning library that links hands-on activities to every math outcome for Grades 1-7. In a multi-grade classroom setting, students will engage with manipulatives, interactive games, and vertical "Thinking Classroom" surfaces to make math meaningful and fun. "We want math to feel exciting and accessible," said Krystle Stanley, Principal of Rossville School. "By using games and hands-on strategies, students can apply concepts beyond the textbook and families can join in too," she added.
Congratulations Rossville School!
