With the fall term well underway, Lambton College is reporting a nearly 10 per cent increase in domestic student enrolment, marking a five-year high for the Sarnia campus. Of the 4,500 new and returning students enrolled for the fall semester, domestic students account for slightly more than half of the College's total student population.
The surge in enrolment underscores the College's continued commitment to both student and community success and is marked by a series of remarkable achievements, enhanced student services, and exciting events taking place in the coming months.
Lambton College President & CEO Rob Kardas expressed his enthusiasm for the new term, particularly with respect to recent campus upgrades, and student life initiatives designed to support, engage, and empower every student who chooses to study at Lambton College.
"It's really quite exciting when I think of everything we have to look forward to this year," he said. "We have expanded our student services and introduced new amenities, including a brand-new Subway restaurant on campus. These additions are part of our ongoing efforts to create a vibrant, supportive, and welcoming environment for students from all around the world."
