Mohawk College was honoured to welcome The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, to the Marshall School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship in Stoney Creek on Friday (May 1) for a federal announcement highlighting investments from the Spring Economic Update 2026.
Joined by John-Paul Danko, Member of Parliament for Hamilton West Ancaster Dundas, and Lisa Hepfner, Member of Parliament for Hamilton Mountain, the Minister spoke about strengthening pathways into the Skilled Trades and supporting young people with the skills, experience and opportunities they need to succeed.
