The Assumption College Lions were 10 minutes away from an AABHN boys lacrosse championship before a McKinnon Park Secondary School outburst blew things wide open.
Leading the Blue Devils 4-1 with about 10 minutes left in regulation, the Lions relinquished their advantage quickly as MPSS scored five unanswered goals to en route to a 6-4 Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk championship on Tuesday at home.
"It's a game of runs," ACS player Memphis McNaughton said. "They went on a run at the best time."
