Leadership positions have been announced for the School of Engineering Technology and Aviation and at the McKeil School of Business, School of Creative Industries, Liberal Studies & Communications.
School of Engineering Technology
Effective July 11, Jeffrey McIsaac has been appointed as Dean of Engineering Technology on a permanent basis. Jeff has been serving as the Interim Dean of Engineering Technology and Aviation since February 15, 2023. Jeff was previously the Dean of Applied Research for three years and, before that, worked as the General Manager of the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre. Prior to joining Mohawk College in 2016, Jeff founded two start-up companies, advising five more, and spent five years as a Senior Manager at Deloitte. Jeff holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo, with specializations in materials science and metallurgy. He also holds two patents for microelectronics materials.

In addition, Andrew McTear has been named as the successful candidate for the role of Dean, McKeil School of Business, School of Creative Industries, Liberal Studies & Communications. Since his arrival in 2011, Drew has worked as a faculty member, a program coordinator and, for the past six years, as an Associate Dean in the McKeil School of Business, successfully managing a variety of portfolios. Drew has a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of New Brunswick, an M.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has received his Charter Manager designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Drew's appointment is effective August 1.
