As well, another 140 students who had averages of 90% or higher regardless of their program also received $150 bursaries.
In speaking to this year's recipients Vanier Academic Dean, Sandrina Joseph, said "The awarding of the entrance scholarships is a testament not only to your academic success but also to your perseverance, your vision, and your dedication to making those dreams a reality. This scholarship is not the end of the journey; it is simply the entry leading you to something much greater. So, keep pushing forward. Stay true to your vision and to yourself. And above all, never stop believing that you have the power to shape the world around you. We all believe you do."
Following the ceremony, students attended a reception with family and friends.
Congratulations to all these deserving students.
