On Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, Applied Research at Algonquin College officially launched the newly independent Green Supply Chain and Sustainability Research Lab (GSCSRL).
Under the leadership of Ahmad Teymouri, Professor, Supply Chain Management, School of Business and Hospitality, this state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to advancing sustainability and digital technologies.
During the grand opening, industry partners, Algonquin College faculty and staff attended to learn more about the innovative work being conducted at the GSCSRL and to explore potential collaborations in applied research within our supply chain programs.
The lab features carbon emission assessments, Lean Six Sigma analysis, tailored process optimization plans, and customized sustainability solutions.

This lab will serve as a hub for research and innovation, empowering our faculty and students to collaborate with partners in developing solutions that reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable practices across industries and communities.
