Our partnership with OCAS has allowed us to engage in research on the factors shaping college applicants' decisions and pathways, and the changing educational landscape for adult learners. Now we are building on previous HEQCO work focused on postsecondary decision-making among French-speaking students in Ontario and exploring the preferences and pathways specifically of French-speaking college applicants.
With some Ontario businesses struggling to recruit the bilingual workers they need, Ontario's French-language colleges can play an essential role in responding to this labour market need.
