The Cavaliers took home the silver medal on Saturday Nov. 8, at the CCAA Men's Soccer National Championship hosted at Champlain Saint-Lambert.
In front of a packed home crowd at Seaway Park 3, the Cavaliers faced the Humber Hawks to fight for the top honour of the tournament, keeping up the pressure and fighting to the end for a 2-1 finish.

Defender Cyril Boivin was recognized as 4-Imprint Player of the Game for his leadership and composure under pressure and he was selected for the 2025 CCAA Men's Soccer Championship All-Star team alongside Peter John Boga Guessan and Thomas Fraser.
For Champlain, the silver medal marked a proud achievement, building on their bronze medal finish in 2024.
Champlain Saint-Lambert was proud to host this event, which would not have been possible without the contributions of numerous volunteers and supporters of the athletics program.
From students to staff and community members, this was a phenomenal example of teamwork both on and off the field. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the volunteers whose dedication behind the scenes made nationals possible and unforgettable for everyone involved.
Over the course of the week, more than 1,000 fans came out to support these players and brave the cold weather, creating a festive and energetic atmosphere at the park.
Thank you also to newly elected Saint-Lambert Mayor Loïc Blancquaert, who, in one of his first appearances since the election, came out to participate in the official coin toss at the National Championship Gold Medal Game.
