Saskatchewan Polytechnic has received a $500,000 gift from Wally and Colleen Mah, co-owners of North Ridge Development Corporation, in support of the Time to Rise campaign for the new Joseph A. Remai Saskatoon Campus. In recognition of the contribution, the Early Childhood Education program will feature the North Ridge Creativity Zone, a modern learning environment designed for collaborative learning.
North Ridge Developments is one of Saskatchewan's largest privately held development companies. As leaders in the province's construction and development sector, the Mahs' investment reflects a commitment to building not only communities and infrastructure, but also the skilled workforce and innovative learning environments that will help drive Saskatchewan's future growth.

The North Ridge Creativity Zone will enhance Sask Polytech Early Childhood Education training with the hands-on learning, practical training and applied skills needed to become confident and capable educators.
The Mahs have a longstanding relationship with Sask Polytech. Both received honorary degrees from the institution in 2012. Colleen Mah serves on the Time to Rise campaign committee, and together they are members of Sask Polytech's President's Advisory Circle, reflecting their ongoing commitment to advancing education and opportunity in Saskatchewan.
The Time to Rise campaign in support of the new campus aims to empower Sask Polytech graduates and strengthen the provincial economy. The Joseph A. Remai Saskatoon Campus will consolidate an existing network of decentralized, outdated buildings into a contemporary, technology-rich learning environment, increasing program capacity for more students.
