Three amazing Advertising & Marketing Communications Management students were recipients of four awards at the Media Department's Annual Magnifique Awards Night held on Thursday, June 17.
First-year student Jake Krzyzanowski received the Stephen Sauvé Memorial Award. This award is presented to the first-year student who shows the most promise and dedication in copywriting.
Second-year student Jesse Warner won two awards. The Ottawa Citizen Advertising and Marketing Award of Excellence, sponsored by the Citizen, is given to the student who shows excellence in media and retail advertising. And the Nancy Henry Scholarship for Academic Excellence award (formerly the McMillan Award), sponsored by Ottawa Advertising Agency McMillan, is presented to the second-year student with the highest GPA.
Third-year and recent graduate Alaysha Mahmutoglu won the WICKED Award. This award is presented on behalf of the faculty of the Advertising program to the student who embodies the core values of the program: work ethic, integrity, cooperation, knowledge, excellence and determination.
