Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) has set tuition rates for the next three academic years (2019-22). There will be an increase of three per cent in each year - or approximately $100 per year - for most programs. The increases will offset program delivery costs and support the delivery of balanced budgets.
NSCC has released tuition rates for a three-year period to offer a longer-term planning horizon for the College, which also provides a longer lead-time for students planning for tuition costs.
NSCC President Don Bureaux says, "As Nova Scotia's Community College, with campuses in communities across the province, we continue to work to keep our commitment to offer quality programming that is accessible and affordable."
Tuition will not increase for certain programs already offered outside of the standard tuition fee structure which include, but are not limited to, Health Information Management, Heavy Equipment Operator and Aviation Programs (Avionics, Mechanical and Structures). With support from the province, NSCC continues to offer its Adult Learning Program and English for Academic Purposes program at no cost to students.
