On February 2, Epiroc and Collège Boréal signed a memorandum of understanding officializing their partnership on Boréal's new Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Maintenance Program.
This announcement could not be more timely for Collège Boréal, on the eve of the first course of its new BEV Maintenance Program, which begins on February 9. This partnership with a company specializing in mining technology and equipment, a leader in emission-free mining operations, provides a direct link to the mining industry. The program team will benefit from this privileged relationship to remain aware of best practices as they evolve internationally.
For Epiroc, this collaboration with Collège Boréal is a way to support the continued electrification of mining operations by combining Boréal's expertise in corporate training and in health and safety with their own knowledge of batteries, electric drivetrains, BEVs, and energy storage.
