LAMBTON COLLEGE
Lambton College to Continue with Hybrid Academic Plan for Spring Term

February 16, 2021

Lambton College will extend its Hybrid Academic plan into the upcoming Spring Term.

While conversations about what college might look like for September 2021 have begun, the decision to continue in a hybrid format for Spring is certain and is based largely on the success of the Fall and Winter Terms and the safety of the College community. This approach will see the continuation of theory-based courses offered online, labs completed face-to-face and Student Services provided in both remote and in-person formats, all while adhering to protocols for physical distancing and public health guidelines.

As per the provincial mandate requiring the use of masks or face coverings within enclosed publicly-accessible spaces, mask use will remain mandatory for every person who accesses the campus. The College has also introduced a new Campus Access Training module that is mandatory for faculty, staff, students, contractors and visitors attending any of the College's campus locations.

Additional safety protocols including increased cleaning, hand sanitizing stations and social distancing guidelines will also continue, to ensure the safety of everyone who is required to spend time on campus.

Everyone entering the campus building (each time) is required to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire. Staff and students can complete the pre-entry questionnaire on their computer or mobile device or via the Lambton Safe App before arriving at the College.
