Lisa Peldjak (RN, BScN) is a former Professor and Coordinator in the Nursing Program. Over the past year she has also held the position of Associate Academic Dean. Ms. Peldjak was responsible for ongoing program evaluations, coordinating clinical placements for nursing students in Quebec and Ontario, as well as holding the title of Chair of the Nursing Curriculum Committee. She recently led a research project funded by Entente Canada-Quebec in partnership with CEGEP de Chicoutimi and sits on the Comité Étudier puis travailler en Outaouais with CISSSO. With over ten years of post-secondary teaching and administrative experience at the CEGEP level, Ms. Peldjak brings a breadth and depth of knowledge that is needed to ensure excellent program content for students for the future.

Prior to coming to Heritage, Ms. Peldjak was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Nursing at McGill University, a Clinical Manager and Registered Nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, a Registered Nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Alberta and a Registered Nurse in the Queensway Carlton Emergency Department. She held several bilingual management positions and served on various Boards and Councils in both the healthcare and education sectors.
Lisa's approachable and collaborative manner has earned her respect both from students and faculty. Her enthusiastic approach to teaching, her passion for student success and her determination to make Heritage the best educational institution it can be has made her an advocate for collaboration across sectors, creative partnerships, and innovative strategic opportunities.
A lover of sports and the great outdoors, she spends time with her family participating in local community events in the Outaouais and Ottawa regions.
